Emotional
Freedom Technique (EFT)
In simple terms EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture
using your fingertips instead of needles. You
tap with your fingertips on certain meridian points
over the body to stimulate them while you are
‘tuned in to a problem’. The theory
is that ‘the cause of all negative emotions
is a disruption in the body’s energy system’,
so by tapping on the acupressure points, you help
release the energy blockage and this then releases
the emotional issue.
Once EFT has cleared out emotional debris, you
will then notice how physical ailments start to
fade. Headaches, back pains and other discomforts
often tend to improve or vanish as emotional issues
improve (this is the essence of Mind Body Medicine).
Your vision may become clearer and everyday stress
may take less toll on your system.
