Hypnotherapy is a safe and natural phenomenon,
which occurs everyday in our lives. Each time
we find ourselves day-dreaming or arriving at
our destination without actually remembering how
we got there (!) we are experiencing a trance-like
state, and this is hypnosis.
During hypnosis our conscious mind becomes relaxed
which then allows our subconscious to be accessed.
It is the subconscious mind that controls our
habits, beliefs, emotions and behaviours, so by
suggesting new beliefs, positive ideas and new,
healthy habits, we can change our lives for the
better, and usually permanently.
The majority of people can be successfully hypnotised
and no-one can be made to do anything they don’t
want to do.
Sessions last for one hour with the first consultation
session being 1½ hrs. long. The number
of sessions required is determined by the client’s
individual treatment plan.
